    thanks for the inf joe am still confuse what to do though..as you see..if i applied for citizenship and shes not yet..does she need to ILR to stay on this country with us..until she reach 18 to be eligible to that citizenship??

    well you cant apply for citizenship until you have had ILR for one year ( well for most people anyway) so if you have ilr then you would need to apply for ilr for her at the same time. ! so she would have ilr, so i dont understand what your asking

    after ILR a year more is citizenship right joe's my question is if the time i will eventually apply citizenship and shes not does it mean that every few years she need to have ILR to stay on the country..

    Moy, if you follow the advice of joebloggs all be OK
    Both of you will apply for ILR at the same time and on the same form (if she is under 18 at the time)
    Moy, Please take a look at the form so you will know what is required.

    Once you have ILR and after the qualifying time, you can apply for citizenship for yourself and to REGISTER your daughter as British Citizen.
    When your daughter is 18 she can apply for Naturalisation.

    The ILR is indefinite leave to remain. It does not have any expiry, it is Indefinite. It does not need to be renewed. Just be sure not to remain outside of UK for more than 2 years.
