I wonder if all the Poppy fields have been destroyed yet, to give some sort of reason for the enormous drain on the country's finances, let alone our brave young men having to suffer such horrific injuries, if not death.

Quite right Graham the poppy fields should be napalmed/defoliated. If we are to be serious in the War on Drugs then we should be following Singapore's fine example and hang drug traffickers

How the hell are we supposed to guide our kids in such matters (drugs) when it seems that so many celebrities, people in government and other 'role models' are snorting Cocaine or smoking dope ?

Too many people benefiting from the drugs trade on the sly it seems.

I agree, Singaporeans have the right attitude.
