newcomer to the UK

I am shortly applying for a Uk fiancé visa and all being well hope to be living in Uxbridge, Middlesex before Christmas, hopefully we have enough documentation to satisfy the Embassy official in Manila. I would love to hear from any Filipino ladies already living in the surrounding area or even farther afield in the UK who i can make friends with and it will also be nice to get their experience of living in the UK and how they cope with the colder weather.

UK weather change every 5 minutes so be ready
like to everyone who be away from home..you'll experience the feeling of being homesick once you are here but no worries as soon you know your way around and settled you'll be fine..mentally..physically and emotionally will be struggling at the moment for you but will become better as you get to use the life here..
