I always liked to think that I 'discovered' her years before she became famous.

1970, me 18 years old just moved to London, went to an afternoon film at the local cinema. Odd little sci-fi movie with a college band in it called 'Toomorrow'. GORGEOUS lead singer, who's name I looked for later on the end titles.

She was one of the official castaways of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown last year.

Also in 2010, she signed up to become a VJ for Channel [V] Philippines, signed a recording contract with MCA Universal, a movie contract with Regal Entertainment, and a television contract with GMA.

She starred on the Valentine trilogy movie "My Valentine Girls". She was one of the leading ladies in the remake of the fantaserye "Captain Barbell". She's currently hosting a lifestyle show called "Fashbook". and has just released her first ever music album this year.

Just remembered, my absolute favourite at the moment is that ex-model, but highly intelligent black lady TV cook.

I will never complain about cookery programmes again, but I can never concentrate because my eyes are just popping out of my head, and I'm salivating all the way through...not over the food.
