At some point in the next few days the forum will be moving to a new server. Currently it shares a dedicated server with my other forum Win2Win Racing, along with about 80 blogs and other sites. Last weeks 24hr downtime meant all these sites went off-line so in order to prevent that happening in the future I will be moving the forums onto their own VPS, the blogs will be split onto another 2 VPS.
Currently I pay about £200 a month for the dedicated server, and have used it for about 5 years. However technology has since moved on and strangely by having what is technically 4 servers with 2 different companies will only cost about £100 a month
Forum downtime during the move should be about 2hrs so we'll call that 4 then.... computers!!!
I'll announce when I know the exact time/date.
