The Uk Poor

You only have to read the papers, watch the news to know that we have 1000's of poor people in this country who live below the 'poverty' line. Well why don't we just ship them all out so they can live in a Filipino shanty town where they will obvisouly be much better off!!!!

Errmm - I'm not quite sure who this is aimed at or the point you're making...?

Anyone who in this country thinks they are "poor" or "hard done by" should be forced to go live in a Philippine squatter shack - they'd never moan again about how hard their life is in the UK. People in the UK don't know what poverty is.

Maybe we could start a campaign of some kind...

have lots of photos of how people live in PH and maybe get statements from individuals showing their position.

yes, some people in UK really don't have much in comparrison to the ''haves''
but the have-nots in PH and other countries have much less.

I visited Africa once and where I was was a similar condition to some parts of PH but the children were generally very happy.

the biggest difference i've noticed is that the kids from all poor countries love being happy and love education...

i think it's mostly to do with poor attitude and education which has failed the UK.

but who am i to measure the problems.
