... after all, BOTH denominations - irrespective of whether they're Catholic OR Protestant - share the Christian faith.
I was put off religion as a youngster by the in fighting and struggle for power between the various factions within the Christian religion. There was never very much loving thy neighbour and turning the other cheek...etc. To me it seemed that they had completely missed the message that Jesus was preaching, and all they were concerned about was promoting their own interests and beliefs and condemning others who didn't agree 100% with them.
