I have used this to check the prices and is quite good like just like doms example.

Can select landline or mobile as in the past some companies are cheaper for one but not the other why i don't know.

Mobile to mobile is complicated on some you can use your "free" mintues if you have a contract depending on the type of number being dialed and the contract you have.

Worth sitting down and looking up your mobiles charges and how they would beast work with the numbers avaiable.

For example i used to use alpha telecome not the cheapest but they had a normal number in fact london 0207 but most mobiles just care if it a normal landline number or not and not concerend with the location code.

I could use my Free mintues with this number so no nasty surpirses.

Also be careful a new cheap call number migt look like a mobile number ie 077 but some phone companes allow in free mintues others dont and it can vary from contract to contract possibly and at any time it might change as you well know.

Thanks for your swift response to that Andy.

When I phone Hanna in the Phils from my mobile I call +63 and then her number without the 0 in front. Is this how it works with these call providers?

Sod the 3p...We always stuck to the 10p number as it was reliable..
Tried a few times with different cheaper numbers but we alway got cut off ..Stick with what works best for you..IMO..

Hi all there is another phone card out called black, cost you a fiver (£5) and you get 115 mins from landline to mobile and 150 mins from landline to landline, I havent used it yet but my friend Billy does and he checks all the times he calls the Phils, haha he has 1 card for mobile and 1 card for landline just to make sure he gets all his mins.

Has anyone here used www.discountdial.co.uk? I've been using Telediscount.co.uk for a while and found them to be quite reliable. 9p a minute to a mobile. Discountdial only charge 7p a minute, and I was going to give them a try next time I call. Anyone any experience of their service?
