Incredible I've just watched it on BBC iPlayer - this proves that sometimes the poor old licence payer does get something of value out of the BBC.

The bloke with a Normandy Farmhouse, 2 yachts and a council flat in Croydon takes the biscuit plus the chap with the dual identity driving a Bentley with a waterfront pub in Devon - I still can't believe it

I did watch the earlier programme a few months ago where they exposed a dodgy Met Policeman renting out his lovely bijou council flat in Southwark to tourists

if its the same program i watched a while ago, the guy had a couple of council/housing associtaion houses nextdoor to each other, and rented one out and lived in the other

How on earth can this go on, the country is on its knees because of this ridiculous welfare state. This isn't helping people, it's giving them a way of life.

Broken Britain 2011 - one of the prime reasons why I'm an angry man. My wife missed it but just laughed and said "why does the UK allow it ?" when I told her of Bentley and Yacht owning fraudsters.

Joe you wouldn't have seen it before it's a brand new programme I think as a follow up to the one about 6 months ago where they exposed the Gite owning copper (Council have now got the flat back and he's under investigation by them and the Met - in my book he should now be in jail)

I watched a recording of this latest Panorama Benefit Fraudsters programme.
Even though I knew what to expect by reading this thread. It still did not help my blood pressure.
It's an absolute disgrace.
Surely the gov't can invest something to prevent this unbelievably huge hemorrhage of much needed funds.
