Lol and I just want to say thanks to this forum and for all the info on here that allowed for a successful ILR application. Ours was by far from straight forward but it just goes to show that if you are prepared and do your research then all should go well.
In the end, the caseworker (who was extremely helpful and friendly) took away some of our letters, a letter from my employer detailing our secondment to the states and our passports, and that was it. I was amazed that he didnt even look at the other docs we prepared (payslips or tenancy agreement). I guess we were extremely lucky to have the CW we did.
Once again, thanks to forums like this, our lives were made much easier.
