Seems that migration is normal, whether within the UK or abroad. For me, as much as I love the English countryside and the general way of life in the smaller towns, I feel the country is going downhill and don't see a future in the UK for me.
Originally I'm from Doncaster in Yorkshire. Have travelled pretty much constantly since I left school, from the Artic to the Antarctic, and haven't really lived in the UK for the last 5 years. As many of the forumites know, I've lived in the Philippines (both Manila and Cebu) and a recent move sees me living in Muscat, Oman.
When we move on from here, I guess Aussie or NZ will be the next place to try.
