Tax refund (from the Lagos office of HMRC)

    Well, lucky me

It seems as though the Lagos office of HMRC want to give me a tax refund of J377. I'm not quite sure what currency a J is, but I'll enjoy spending it.....after I've given them my bank details and credit card number so they can credit it to my account

    Dear Taxpayer,

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have discovered that
you are eligible to receive a tax refund of Ј377.55. Kindly complete the tax refund
request and allow 2-3 working days to process it.

A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid
records or applying after the deadline. To access the form for your tax refund,
    please Click here: http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxpayers/refundation.html

Note: For security reasons, we will record your ip-address, the date and time.
Deliberate wrong inputs are criminally pursued and persecuted.

    Thank You.
    HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC)

    Oh lucky you indeed

A refundation sounds lovely (sounds like a medical procedure to me)

Maybe J is for Jollibee's (gotta be the worst food on the planet)

I've already spent the money on the strength of my letter.

    Hope I don't get 'persecuted'

I don't want to be criminally persecuted if I input the wrong info by mistake, so after giving it at lot of consideration, I have decided that I will donate my refundation of J377 to the kind and honest tax office workers in HMRC Lagos
