It was good of them to run past us northerners with the torch I suppose.
I presume most of the people who built the place were from Eastern Europe, and most of the profits will be deposited offshore, and later us taxpayers will pay for the messy aftermath.
Extra housing and other facitities for the unemployed and asylum seekers/illegals in South London.
Oh well, I suppose SOMEONE will benefit from it.
Us London Council Tax payers have endured a levy of something like 10% on our bills for the last 5 years to pay for these Olympics and will have to cope with all the so called fans becoming illegal overstayers afterwards.
On the plus side, the area needed re developing, just did not want the Olympics and the accommodation blocks that will become ghetto`s.
Like the shopping centre though
I don't suppose you'll be getting a free ticket then ?
