Need advice re: proof of accomodation

We have a scheduled appt in 2 weeks time for the spouse visa however im having problems with evidence on proof of accomodation. My husband has been renting our flat since march last year and the tenancy agreement he got indicated that it has a fixed 6month contract(which is pretty standard) and it is a rolling contract thereafter however it is an informal agreement between my husband, landlord and agent and its not indicated in the contract. We have added my name on the council tax and has informed the landlord that i have moved in which he acknowledged and stated there was no problem with it. We are now trying to get in touch with him as he was being funny when we asked for a letter confirming that we still live there and that it is a rolling contract instead told my husband that we need to sign up for another 6 months if we want that sort of letter which we dont want to do as we are planning to move out by jan or feb to a bigger house. we created a letter which he juz need to sign confirming we still live there but our landlord is not answering for the past few days and he is now completely being difficult.
Will it be sufficient if we will just bring the old tenancy agreement weve got + last year and updated council tax bill + proof of rental fee (which was set up direct debit) or things might look a bit dodgy on immig officer's eyes..
Im feeling the ultimate stress now :(

Accommodation (renters) If the sponsor rents a flat or house, the tenancy agreement should be provided. If the applicant is not a signatory to the tenancy agreement, then an additional statement from the landlord (or estate agent) should be provided that attests to his agreement that the premises will be occupied by an additional person. If an existing tenancy agreement is to be used, it should have at least six months before expiry. If the tenancy agreement does not have at least six months before expiry, then an additional statement from the landlord showing intent to renew at the same terms should be provided.

Can we take it that you are here already in UK and you are now making application for FLR (Further Leave to Remain as Spouse) ?

As I recall there is no question for proof of accommodation relating to FLR application.
Which question on the form is confusing you?

When you say you have a scheduled appnt do you mean you will make FLR application in person at the UKBA PEO?

or
Are you actually making application for a spouse settlement visa from outside UK ?
In which case you will need to comply with the information that joe has given.

Yes im already here in uk abd have an appt in PEO. It is not listed in the checklist but i want all the documents in hand juz in case they ask for it as it is one of the things i know theyre gonna be looking at it to make sure weve got accomodation.

For FLR they ask only for details of the address where you are living, and if applicable, a mailing address if different from where you live.

I hope all will go well for you FLR.
I've always felt that if the budget is available to do that then it is a 'cleaner' route.
However, please be informed that your application needs to be straightforward. Meaning all required supporting documentation is clear and needs no further checks or verifications by a back-office caseworker.
If the application is not fully compliant and straighforward, then you will not have the visa decision on the same day. Your application will go into the usual postal work.

Not trying to be negative, just trying to help you. Please do spend some time understanding the form and what is required so that you won't be disappointed.

You don't need any new tenancy agreement or letters from the landlord so try not to worry so much on that.

Thanks Terpe, ill tell my husband not to chase our landlord as he is getting too difficult and will juz bring the old tana cy and council tax if in case they look for it.

The only thing i could think of that would make my application a bit complicated is my current status as im on tier 4. So probably they would check on that but im hoping they wont really make a big fuss out of it as ive got good immigration history(hopefully lol). Ill juz probably bring all photos weve got including our holiday in the phils last august.
