I met my wife online in early March. Met her face to face in mid April for just over a week and then married her in June. She got her Spouse visa in September and arrived in Britain on 1st October.

Thanks Graham, well 3 months to feel in love seems ok to me then I have learnt that its no good looking to far ahead as there are to many hills to climb to get to the top which is being married to her, but I am enjoying the getting there and being in love seems to make the days skip by

Yep, fall in love....meet the lady in person and then hopefully stay in love.

    Take it from there.

They've got to make the old heart race a bit to get you running for that plane and endure the tedious 20 hour journey.

Bear in mind though, I HAVE been scanning the dating sites for about 4 years now, and reckon to have a reasonable understanding of Filipino culture and thought processes, after being backwards and forwards to the place for over 20 years including spells of residence of up to 3 years and having had 12 years of marriage to a Filpina.

Doesn't guarantee success or compatibility, but does mean that the rose-coloured specs went years ago.
