That's a good find Ded. Can't say I'd ever heard of him but I'll mention it to my brothers who are both competitive amateur cyclists and clock up some serious miles each week![]()
The previous holder of the (round the world) record wrote a fascinating book about his trip, which I've read.
Can't remember the details of the book now, but if you look him up you should be able to track it down.
He actually slept on the side of roads etc during his ride.
You'll feel truly humbled and astonished at the sheer stamina and guts of the man after reading his account.![]()
