Hello Amy, welcome to the forum.
Concerning your question, all the official information you need is provided in the following links. Well worth reviewing.
UK in the Philippines - Passports
Birth Registration (Not a passport requirement but recommended)
Also check the links and Related Documents section on the right hand side of the webpage
How to apply from The Philippines
Scroll down the page to the section "CHILDREN UNDER 16, BORN OUTSIDE OF THE UK (where only ONE parent was British at the time of birth)"
Here again look on the right hand side of the page for the forms and guidance.
If you have any specific questions just ask. There are members here who have successfully completed passport applications for children.
Amy,
Just found this additional interesting document:-
APPLYING FOR A UK PASSPORT WHILST IN THE PHILIPPINES
I haven't read it all, but it looks like it contains plenty of good information with plenty of links.

IT's easy but expensive. As a first passport you will need to attend the Embassy, and the form and photos will need to be attested by a British National of a suitable professional occupation (Missionaries/Priests are not accepted for applications in the Philippines), although they may accept a signature from a Philippine Doctor in certain circumstances.
I think what my wife is trying to ask is.. Is it easier to get passports for our 2 children in the philippines and then bring them over as british citizens rather than bring them over on philippine passports when my wife applies for her visa. They are not registered in the philippines as british yet. Would it be a long process? Whats involved? Thats what my wife is trying to say. I would have to fly out there, and how long would it take etc, and how much.
Thanks
When you weigh up the cost of the two additional visas against time off work plus flights etc etc....you maybe better off shouldering the cost of the visas.
The day is young...you'll get other opinions later
Good Luck![]()
Without a shadow of a doubt it will be cheaper and easier to get the British Passports in the Philippines.
