Just really having a bit of a dilemma here. My partner and I...that is. We're having a hard time on what's the best way or easiest Visa to get...which i reckon none of the options would really be easy as UK has really been stricter with regards to immigrant policies. But my major inquiry really is how much I need to show to the HO for me to process a visit visa as that is one of our option right now. Our other option would be the more complicated one...that is the unmarried/civil partnership visa. Which is till now I'm trying to understand how does that thing work or the processing.

The reason being is that my partner has been out of job for quite sometime and just put up an online business some months ago so definitely fund is really a big problem. Though his business is starting to do well I know it still not enough for the funding for the partner visa. Thats why i wanna know how much fund needed as my parents are willing to fund me...and if so..would a third party funding be allowed...in this case my mom.

Welcome to the friendly forum Ian.
I would say It will be easier to obtain civil partnership visa as it is under settlement category. Tourist visa nowadays is really hard to get. But it is worth a try. There is no required amount of show money you need to have on your savings account considering you have generous amount that you think will be enough to support yourself while you are in the UK. But the main thing is that you have to provide evidence of your tie up in your country and that you will RETURN at the end of your propose visit. You will also need a sponsor for your tourist visa that is resident in UK. Hope this helps.

I'm sure expert members here like Win2win, Torpe, Joeblogs and many more will give you clear idea of what is best to do. Goodluck & Godbless!

    Hi there Ian84.

Im warren...im in the uk now to form CP NEXT YEAR. since u've been in the uk already before, i think it's eaiser for u now to apply for a CP visa... if you have no jobs, no earnings or money in your bank that's okey.... leave everything to your partner to be. he only needs to show that he could support your needs while in the uk with no course to public funds.... which im sure he could afford to suppport u. i think also it's best if he is a homeowner...before my cp visa i actually been granted two visit visas before....
    BE nice or Leave!
