Hi everyone,
Me and my partner had been reading this forum for the past few months until we applied for her settlement visa to be with me here in the UK. We want to say a great thank you to all the people on here who post their advice and experiences.

we got our visa after about a week and a half of applying. To all those who are in the process now, just don't give up...everything happens for the best.
I'll just give you guys a background on me and her. We are a same sex couple

and we had our Civil Partnership ceremony in the British Embassy in March this year and I stayed in the Philippines with her for 6 months. Our biggest challenge was that the Philippines does not allow any gay marriage or same sex union. Though when we were out and about no one ever did say anything against us but the law will never agree to let us be a female same sex couple.
These are the documents and evidence we submitted:
1. Tickets from my 2 visits/hotel bookings.
2. Skype, Yahoo messenger logs, cards and letters exchanged.
3. Our Civil Partnership certificate
4. Photo collection from our times together.
5. 3 months of our payslips and bank papers.
6. Our lease contract when we lived together in the Philippines.
7. Evidence of her and my job.
8. A letter written from both of us.
9. A letter from my folks saying we can live with them.
I hope this can help others who are in the same position as what we were. All she needs to do now is the CFO seminar and then jump on a flight here to me!
