He's become a real British institution, and has been a credit to the Monarchy, even with his occasional faux pas.
My dad is the same age as The Duke of Edinburgh (90) and his brain is just as sharp, and he also tends towards the same gaffe's

While the Queen arrived in a Bentley, the Duke of Edinburgh chose to make the 400-metre trip from Sandringham House to the estate's church on foot.
