i was just about to start my wifes online settlement visa application when i came across this.
    SPONSORSHIP UNDERTAKING FORM (SU07)
IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR SETTLEMENT AS THE PARENT,GRANDPARENT OR OTHER DEPENDANT RELATIVE OF SOMEONE IN THE UK,YOUR SPONSOR NEEDS TO COMPLETE AND SIGN THE SPONSOERSHIP UNDERTAKING FORM (SU07) WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON THE UK BORDER AGENCY WEBSITE.
BY SIGNING THIS FORM,YOUR SPONSOR CONFIRMS THAT THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR MAINTENANCE & ACCOMMODATION IN THE UK,YOU SHOULD INCLUDED THIS COMPLETED FORM WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR SETTLEMENT APPLICATION.
does this apply to me,as the husband,a born & bred UK citizen? if so, how do i get that form to my wife in the phills,we all know we cant depend on philippine postal service.

no you don't need to fill one in for a spouse, sponsorship undertaking is required when one is applying for entry clearance under the elderly or other dependent relatives category.
