    Hello Everyone. Newbie here

hi everybody. Im currently living here in UK . Wishing you a belated Christmas. I will just ask few question with my spouse visa. My husband had a child from previous relationship before we married. But when I applied for spouse visa valid for 2 years, we didn't declare in the application form that he have a child from his ex gf that he support .Is this will affect my Indefinite Leave to Remain / British Citizenship application soon if the Immigration will find out about it? will my visa will be invalid?

    Thank you.

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

I doubt any action will be taken regarding your visa.

...Though your partner SHOULD have declared the full facts when originally sponsoring you.

It's up to your partner whether or not he decides to 'come clean', but maybe it's best to wait and see if anything is queried before getting too worried.

Too late to do anything about it now.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Firstly, you should consider yourselves very lucky that no detailed verification checks were done. The details of your husbands children should have been declared.

Secondly, it's not possible to be 100% sure if further visa applications to the Home Office will be scrutinised in such detail. Personally I would doubt it as it stands right now.

However, there are plans in place to significantly review and change the immigration rules with effect April 2012.
At this stage no-one can be sure just what the changes will be or how they might impact any applications.

You will need to wait until closer to the time you need to apply ILR and see what information any new forms request.

I'm pretty sure in your own case it will depend if any formal procedures are in effect in terms of support for the child of your husband.
