My wife was born and raised in the area and our daughter lives there.
We will spend our next Philippine visit in Davao.
I am so impressed with Davao area that I am in the process to buy more property there.

20 months, i'm sure you'll get use to being here, my misses been here for what 7yrs i think, it takes time but you'll get use to it
thou she moaning now, saying she wants to go back and see her family, her mom hasn't seen little joe yet, and he's 5 now
once you get citizenship you could spend as long as you want ( or hubby lets you ) in the phils
