Spouse of Fiancee visa, doesn't matter whether you have work or not....or even any money.

It is only your husband who needs to show that he can support you HERE.

Hi grahamw48 thanks for replying its just that i find it difficult what to answer on financial thing asked on me on the form... Should i also leave questions blank if its not applicable to me or if dont know what i should put in???? As they ask for monthly income how much on the form even if im just supported by my husband... Really find it bit hard to complete the vaf4a form thats why im asking if there is someone here with the same position as me a wife with no work applying for spouse visa??? .....

Can you not scan in the document to your computer and then send a copy to your partner to ask his advice ?

Really he is the one with most of the information you need.

It is important that the forms are filled out correctly.

    Always answer simply and truthfully.

It is your partner's status and income that is the most important....especially if you are single with no kids.

I'm sure there will be lots of members who's Fiancees/Spouses were not working.

Hopefully one of them will be along soon to reassure you.

you don't need to work, its your husband who is your sponsor, he needs to show he can support you 'without recourse to public funds' so stop worrying about it

Hi lyka, I am also applying for spouse visa this month. Like you I am unemployed and being supported by my husband cuz he doesn't want me to work. But I will definitely work when I get back to UK. My husband is a professional Senior IT Consultant and earn good money. I believe that the embassy will look at our husband's circumstances in the UK. They don't care if we have job or savings here in the Phils but it won't hurt to show any only if you have. I am not working but I have some savings I will show when I lodge my application.

So don't worry if you doesn't have a job here or money. It's your husband that should give sufficient proofs and documents that he can support you. Goodluck.

I'm quite confused with some of the questions too, but my husband will guide me when I fill in the application.

What are the questions you find difficult to answer?

Rory, Its an online application form, the old VAF4A is no longer applicable to use now.

You can always practice answering the online application form for future reference:

    http://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk/ApplyNow.aspx

Just remember not to submit it yet :P you can save it and continue later when you have all the information on hand. goodluck.
