Bank to bank transfer

Hi,
I was trying to do the same last day to send a money to my sister from my bank to her bank..but the teller from halifax asked me 1. swift/BIC number 2. Name address of her account 3. account number of holder...So you have to ask that from your girlfriend or wife...hope it helps...

On worldRemit I was only asked for the account holder name, what bank, what city and my girlfriends address. I did call worldRemit today and they told me it went through and it has not bounced back.
