Britain will give priority to the "brightest and the best" immigrants under new plans to cut the number of foreigners settling in the UK, the Immigration Minister has said.

what's the point?? anybody from europe can just walk in to the country so, why bother restricting anybody else?? a couple of more years like this and nobody from the rest of the world will want to come here anyway
