I agree with tone
I think it would be wrong for the government to change the immigration rules for anyone that is already in the system. Maybe to new applicants yes...its like changing the rules half way through a football game.

i cannot see any changes affecting those that will be applying for ILR soon, you've come into the UK on a settlement visa and after 2yrs you could apply for ILR, any changes to those people i'm sure will be seen as unfair by any judges
