    We had to drive to our "local" pinoy store to buy dried fish but they had sold out.

    Obviously she was more disapointed than me, it always makes the house smell

    BTW sars, we enjoyed a nice variety of foods last night at our Asian buffet.
    No dried fish thank goodness.

    Now my wife is looking and looking for somewhere to buy good quality and tasty dried fish. Thank you

    Hmmm Asian Buffet Lovely!! but sorry terpe am not a fan of dried fish ..cant recommend a good quality dried fish from here in the uk as Ive seen them all whites full of salt and preservatives.

    hot but not too hot to taste

    not that i understand what is yummers about rice, alone it doesnt realy have any taste,

    i prefer rice as a rice pudding home made, milk , evaporated milk (carnation) suger nice and sweet, a touch of nutmeg shaken on top, and cooked in oven now thats yummers

    Yesterday my son cooked us his first 'proper' meal....a Lasagna.

    This is the resulting dish.

    You have just listed my favorites.

    Here listed in order of yumminess, with the yummiest first:-

    pork sisig
    lechon kawali/roasted pork
    shrimp and pork siomai
    home made lasagna
    dinuguan/pork ribs in black pudding (I'm not fond of Phils blood pudding, but traditional british black pudding is hmmmmmmwonderful)

    You'll need to explain that chicken cordon bleu? Or you could send me some

    thanks terpe, I still dont understand why some people here loves black pudding for breakfast...my husband let me try to eat black pudding in the AM, just told him i would do something later for dinner and he likes it with rice and pork ribs this time
    chicken cordon bleu is thin slices of chicken breast stuffed with cheese and ham and then baked ...Ive sent you some in your email terpe
