When we applied a visa for my step son to join us here we were issued a settlement visa.
After advice from this forum (especially the great Joebloggs) we we informed that as my wife already had her ILR, the wrong visa was issued.
We wrote to the UKBA regarding changing the visa and we recieved his passport back today with his ILR in it.
