How to tackle Hansen
Could any BBC employee do me a favour and email (anonymously if that helps), the name of the halfwit who negotiated Match Of The Day pundit Alan Hansen’s ‘pay cut’ of £500k to £1 million. I simply want to explain to the twerp that the Strictly Come Dancing judges — Len, Bruno etc — are on £7k a show. Based on a 40-week football season, Hansen should receive a maximum of £280k. If he rejects such an offer and walks out, he walks out.
The ratings would probably rise by one as Hansen himself would tune in.
