hi, can anyone tell me if there are any good reasonably priced family hotels around the 1400 pesos a night mark in cebu city??
Not near mango avenue.........

Both very good and in great locations:-

My first choice would be The Metro Park Hotel in Lahug

Very closely followed by The Diplomat Hotel

You could try the Mango Park Hotel its along General Maxilom Ave which runs into Mango Ave.

Rooms are about 1,600php.

I always stay at the Holiday Plaza Hotel on Ramos street 50m down from Robinsons and Osmena Circle....Their buffet breakfast is included which includes all cereals, toast or fried eggs or the works omelet or sweet & sour fish or fried chicken or rice or fried potatoes or corissants & jam and fresh fruits plus brewed coffee....A breakfast like that would cost you about 350php on its own.

Double rm is about 2,000 or under that price.

By the time you have pigged out for breakfast you only need a apple for lunch.

not sure you will get a family room for 1400. i ususally stay in century hotel where a double was 1400 last time i stayed there, twin bed i think is similar price.

cheapest hotel i think you will find is patria de debu ,close to the cathedral and santa ninjo. dont know if they have family rooms but the basic rooms are dirt cheap, and i mean BASIC, no aircon and you need your own towels. there may be a more upgraded option but i never used it, just wanted a bed for the night and it was around 300 or something craZy.
