... owing to the sheer volume of traffic nowadays, few towns and cities (if, indeed, ANY) display *notices offering free, off-street parking for motorists.

However, not long after I got married to my first [late] wife, she and I were out walking her dog when we came across one such *rarity - a sign proclaiming 'Free P' - at which point (as if on cue!) the animal cocked its right hind leg and "let fly"...

Alas ... I do not have a photo to upload, as I'm talking about away back in 1968.

Indeed, Peter ... in fact, we used to recall the "event" - and it would leave us "in stitches" - for years afterwards.

Ironic, too, really ... because my late wife had been employed as a photographer (albeit a studio photographer) but, naturally enough, we were so taken by surprise that the 'moment' would've been lost anyway.
