Looks like I'll be needing my umbrella and wellies in York on Sunday.
ALMOST persuaded my son to go too....but says his Filipina ex-girlfriend will be there, so not keen.
If ex-girlfriends were a valid reason he wouldn't be able to go ANYWHERE in York.
was up at york last thursday, delivering 60inch tv, a full load to savills, must be lots of rich people buying them this weekend
Savilles are walking distance from me (next to the ring road).
Yep, plenty of rich folk in York...sadly, I'm not one of them and my 42" will have to last til it breaks.
Getting ready to go to the Newcastle fiesta, looks like we may need an umbrella also.
Well, I thought I'd already seen the worst summer in England.
Been setting up the York fiesta today! Hopefully it will be better tomorrow there will be two performers from the Philippines! Let's pray for a little sunshine and a break from this rain. See you there.
Ah, I'm sure your efforts will be most appreciated.
Fingers crossed for some sunshine, but I'll be there come what may.
Dear Fellow Kababayans,
I noticed your discussion thread of the Barrio Fiesta in London. I am reaching out to you because I am trying to promote and produce an event in London for Rex Navarette the Comedian. Do you know of anyone in the Filipino community that I may be able to reach out to regarding this possible venture? I know there is a market of Filipinos very interested in seeing him in London. I just need to know the right people to talk to, to help me produce the show.
The website looks terrific. It looks like it is going to be a fantastic event!
Good luck!
Hi philthecomic! Try to reach the Filipino-Women Association. Here's their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/FWA.UK and their website http://www.fwa-uk.com

Barrio Fiesta 2012 at Lampton Park Hounslow this weekend 3oth June-1st July its normally in the middle of July but because of the Olympic Games starting end of July they brought the Barrio Fiesta forward to this weekend.
I live 20 minutes walk from here so will be attending and taking my soon to be wife to be wife to her First Big Barrio Fiesta in London. Weather does not look that great possible showers but when your enjoying this Event you dont care abt the weather.
Wishing you all a great day and some decent weather.
Just been to Hounslow Barrio Fiesta last Sat. So lucky with the weather!

Is anyone going to the Brighton shingdig today? We're heading down in a few mintues (2hrs drive, day out by the sea etc.). Hope its not too rainy - its cloudy but dry-ish in Oxfordshire.
