Moving to Davao - No No you fool don't do it

Hi

I had a 2 questions about SRRV, NBI and Shipping and I have had replies that are giving me advice on not moving.

Background

51, British, Never been to Davao, Only been to the Philippines once may years ago for a quick visit. Moving with my 5 year old son 1/2 Asian but not Filipino.

It has been suggested that some parst of Davao are like Mossside, Manchester

I am not going to RP for sex, cheap beer or girls - i intend to live everyday life on a gated community near by the school -more than likley in Martina where most of the ex pats are - cook from home and have weekend trips to Samal

So what I am not seeing that people are advising me against this move - I have a 100,000 budget per month and It seem plenty to me

Every town, cities has its less affluent areas ...its purely ideas and opinions given here and it is still up to you what you want to decide or do in life...SRRV? ? yes i think its the right visa for you since you are not married to a filipina and you want to invest in our country..good luck on your plan move to the PH, update us here how it goes and welcome to the forum!!
