Sometimes you just don't feel like leaving the room....so you succumb to temptation.
For our homesick Filipina members.

Thanks gladz.
Yes, we visited Baloy because we didn't have much time to be away from Manila, as my girlfriend needed to be back there to attend some courses.
I know the place well because I sometimes took my kids there at weekends. The beach isn't the greatest, but it's a nice friendly place and easy to get to on the Victory Liner bus.
Nice scenery along the route too:
.
some nice pics graham, especialy the jollibee
A bit of random street scene video from the front of my first Manila hotel, for those who haven't been there yet.

To the right is the crossroads with the famous E.D.S.A (major thoroughfare, and scene of the 'People Power' revolution in 1986).

We met a lovely couple there, and Scott the Canadian guy could sing in Tagalog to his sweet fiancee.
Excuse the sound quality...was perfect there.

She really is a little gem.
Come on....your turn next.
Actually ,for a Yorkshire man I dont think your singing was that bad Graham..Better than that other blokes anyway..
How many Tanduays did you have for Dutch courage?? Sounded like 4 or 5 at least..
Anyway..Not bad lad!
haha....I'd had one or two SMs.
My Elvis performances in Subic were better, and more suited to my range.
Actually the other guy (Canadian) was a really good singer, just the sound quality doesn't reflect that (phonecam), and it was so romantic him singing to his fiancee at least three different Tagalog songs... from memory !
The locals were well-impressed I can tell you, and quite a large crowds usually gathered outside to witness his performances.
He was also great with the kids there, often buying all the little beggar childrens' entire stock of peanuts etc.
One of the nicest couples I've ever met in the Phils
