porridge ,,,,,,, all milk , these days i cook in microwave , half cook leave to stand 1 minute then continue, cover with microproof splash lid, after cooked add nestles evapourated milk, and lots of treacle syrup, nice sweet and creamy,

i never use quick cook oats,,
another favourite is raw oats in a mug add cold milk and lots of suger , use tea spoon to eat, good healthy snack
