tv is dreadful. I am watching 'Nothing to Declare' on pick tv. It amazes me what some people try to smuggle in to the country.

Sounds like you're watching too much dirge on Channel Five Steve

I recommend Aussie programme Underbelly on You Tube about gangsters in Melbourne Mid 70's to 2004. Theres a few Series with loads of Episodes - start with "Tale of Two Cities"

I'll see if I get FX on my Sky Kuripot package Stevie.

A mate of mine in Oz told me 10 days or so ago about it - I've been burning the midnight oil on a few nights since. He reckons the same team have come up with a new one about razor gangs in the 1930's - I doubt if it would have the same appeal to me - there's nothing like watching drug gangsters waste each other. I'd have thought they could have spiced up the Tale of 2 Cities by having a drug smuggler strung up in Sing.

I agree that so many programmes now are some sort of race against time.

Will the Ice Roadtrucker make it in time ?
Will the blinkin chocolate sundae be ready for plating up ?
Will the garden makeover get done before 5pm ?
Even Time Team never have enough time allocated for the job.

I turn off ....not there to be stressed out in my own front room thanks, and I do have an attention span longer than that of a Goldfish anyway.
