    i must admit, i am not keen on the food, love my rice and fish not the smelly dried sort, hate anything with fat on it, just so picky i am,

    The key is to cook the meat and reduce the fat to as close to zero as possible. That way to secure all the flavour but none of the fat. Simples

    try telling em that, i am sure she cooks it that way so she has what i leave, i am amazed how she and her family can chew on the bones, it would break my teeth how they do it

    I've done Sinigang na hipon (prawn) and sinigang na manok (chicken) before and love both! I used the Knorr one for the prawn version and a Mama Sitas for the chicken version. Got some in the freezer and the last time I did the chicken version a couple of weeks back, I made so much that it wouldn't fit in my large wok, so had a medium saucepan and large wok full of it, with only little me to eat it all!
