An old pals Dad was in the Fleet Air Arm and ships photographer on HMS Eagle in the late 1960's I remember on their wall an aerial shot he took of 2 carriers line astern plus escorts with Singapore in the background - brilliantOriginally Posted by grahamw48
We were there 55-58.
Dad was helping to train the new Malayan Navy in Singapore, but we lived in Johor Bahru....different country now. I went to school in Singapore though.
Dad's last sea tour of duty was on the HMS Centaur carrier.
He was RN from 1938 to 1968.
