Manila in the 1970's - old photos, new technology

Thanks to a gift of a slide scanner for my birthday, and " Photobucket " recommended by Steve.r , I can now upload photos from my first visits to Philippines in 1978. Please comment if you're interested, and correct me if I'm wrong.
First off, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, on reclaimed land to the seaward side of Roxas Boulevard, and established by President Marcos in 1966.

Next, Manila Bay and Roxas Boulevard.
Roxas Boulevard ( formerly Dewey Boulevard ) was named in the 1960's to honour the 5th President ( Manuel Roxas )

Brilliant Alan, that worked a treat, they look like postcards.

The last photo looks like a really stormy day.

Glad it all worked ok, I expect you are busily scanning away now Keep them coming

Thanks so much Terpe . The original slides ( transparencies ) have been carefully preserved for all these years ( like me ) but this is one I forgot to label.

Thanks Stevewool - Clint Eastwood ? Get Steve.r to recommend new glasses . Tanga - in those pre-digital days I didn't take so many pictures, but as films only had 36 maximum exposures, every picture was carefully composed. The ones I have uploaded here are all original, as you can see, not edited in any way . Marie - I live in England now. I visited Philippines twice in 1978, while on " loan " to Universiti Malaya ( Kuala Lumpur ) from University of Glasgow ( Scotland ). Visited several hospitals in Manila, and also discovered how friendly and interesting your country is .

This is great i never seen this old photos of CCP and i always take a jogging there after i played tennis, amazing and its grander than now. The water pipes there now is not fully cleaned cause the water on the fountain is color bronze but there still some fish there, i feed them sometimes cause they might die.
