Thank you so much Tony Johnson, whom my husband spoke with last week regarding this big mess caused by Philand Ynterlink, and to Lani, who offered to look for my boxes in the warehouse.
Andy Nisbet is the driver/collector over here in Scotland. He did'nt reply to my emails and text messages for past 4 weeks. Surprisingly though, he emailed me yesterday informing me that he received an email from Yvonne stating that my boxes will be delivered within one week. Andy told me that all shipments have been released and will be delivered this week until next week. Of course I didn't buy that.
Peter also replied to my text message sent 2 weeks ago. He said that "containers don't go into manila due to corruption".
I asked my sister in law to call Cogtong company and inquire about the shipments. She spoke with Jean (or Jane), she said that the boxes have arrived since January but the customs could not release them because Philand Ynterlink has not paid them. Peter & Yvonne owe them 300K! Until this amount is unpaid, the boxes will remain with the customs.
Here is the list of PY numbers that Andy emailed me. He said that these boxes/PY numbers are due to be delivered this week and next week. Check if yours are on this list, but you have recovered your boxes from the warehouse?!You know what I mean? Then all these info from Andy are LIES! (well, obviously these info are from the Newloves, so they are guarantedd lies)

Peter Newlove is about to start a new company trading under different name pls keep an eye for this. also what would happen to your boxes should he decide to leave Philippines cargo business and start something new?? hmmm worrying!!!

The best laugh on here is that why is Tony so frustrated when people didn't thank him for the help he's done? What? You know what!! People who are genuinely helping are not even claiming popularity here so it really makes me laugh when people demand a thank you for their work haha . . . . isn't it enough happiness to help and see people resolving their problems? So why demand credit for the help you've done? @ Molten, this is starting to get stupid now! My wife is Lolita, she is not involved in anyway with this shambles. She went to see Peter yesterday , we have a box that was collected in Dec and has still not been delivered. This has lots of items in it ,flat screen tv, computer moniter etc, I posted about this right at the begining of this thread!I mentioned pickled onions! have you read the whole thread?
The outcome of her visit to Peter was that the box is in Manila along with 300 boxes in the container. It cant be realeased as he hasnt got the money to pay the customs! this apparentley is around £3000. What was suggested was that if we could raise the money ie £20 per box we could maybe have the container released! Peter also promised that he would let Lolita have a list of all the people who have boxes in the container, this hasnt happened, the idea was that she could maybe try to arrange something to get the boxes at least out of the customs! We also have a freind who has conections with the customs in the Philippines and would try and look into this.
All the people that know my wife will tell you that all she is interested in is helping people! See the Mahalika filipino club for all the good work they do!
It seems that Peter has told someone from leeds today that has been to retreive their box, that Lolita his his partner! They asked for the money they had paid for the box back! He told them that Lolita had the money!
As you can imagine this is starting to annoy me now, people should really not speak out until they have the full facts, we are in the same boat as the 100's of people without their boxes!
I hope this gets sorted out , but please get the facts right before naming people on a public forum!

I'm interested and willing to give 20 pounds just to get all my boxes, just rang again the cogtong and told me that Philand Ynterlink haven't paid them, my auntie who works as a custom broker could help as well to release the container...I have 8 large boxes, Tele, bed and Treadmill that collected last December 8,2011 and my PY number are not listed on the other post that saying that it will deliver next week..all my boxes should be deliver within metro manila but still don't have a clue where it is now.
Anyone...please let's help each other to get our balikbayan boxes.
@624 me and my husband are willing to sort the boxes in the Philippines but Molten is the one who is always running down my husband on here. Tony is not asking for credit since that we will shoulder the payment in the custom just to release the container where our boxes are and when we get back here in the Uk we will ask people to help payback the money who have boxes in that container. Hello kabayan let's not attack each other we are here in this forum to give each other support and keep each other informed as to what's happening with our Balikbayan boxes.........we are all depending on each other for any updates anyone can gather.... Everyone should be fair and if you want to show your appreciation to that person who you think has helped you more then be it but be discreet and think of others feeling or how they will understand it.......@ molten show your appreciation to Kirkby full stop but don't have to comment against others as we all know everybody has given time and effort too @ tony i have thanked you and your wife over the phone the very first day that you were in that warehouse.
If this will be the solution that we have to pay just so that we can retrieve our box then count me in.....this is better what is £20 we pay to get our box rather than loosing our box that cost more than £20. @ tony you have my full support and I am wiling to pay extra if needed as long as I'll have my box back.
Just an update to everyone. I sent 2 boxes last 17th of December. And one has been delivered today by Carjeff. To my utterly dismay, only one box was delivered instead of 2. I have been chasing Andy since last week why there was only 1 box listed on the manifest. He said he "forgot" to email me the other list. (cross my fingers that my other box is indeed in that other list)
My guess is that 2 different companies in the Philippines are in charge of each container. Jean from Cogtong company told my sister today that peter has not paid in full. Hence, only one container has been released and that's with Carjeff. The other container which i believe in with Cogtong, is not yet paid. This is getting crazier by the minute! If i get the other list of py numbers from Andy, i will post it here.

Just a thought Molten you said a couple of days ago (post #176) that you had started a legal action against Newlove, I'm all for rogue traders being brought to book but it might be advisable to refrain from posting publicly here

Peter Newlove has a habit of back stabbing people he has worked with just to divert the blame onto others . . . . . . what a prick!!! He blames it on somebody called Kirby whom we do not bloody know. Peter just sort your problems out because if you own the company and you managed your business then it's you who needs to sort it out. so tired of hearing stories from this guy and mentioning people we don't even know
