The best laugh on here is that why is Tony so frustrated when people didn't thank him for the help he's done? What? You know what!! People who are genuinely helping are not even claiming popularity here so it really makes me laugh when people demand a thank you for their work haha . . . . isn't it enough happiness to help and see people resolving their problems? So why demand credit for the help you've done? This Kirby whoever this is I'm sure he is using his brain to catch this Peter Newlove up and feed info to customers and he's not even on here so Kirby if you're reading this well done mate!
Just a thought Molten you said a couple of days ago (post #176) that you had started a legal action against Newlove, I'm all for rogue traders being brought to book but it might be advisable to refrain from posting publicly here

@ Molten, this is starting to get stupid now! My wife is Lolita, she is not involved in anyway with this shambles. She went to see Peter yesterday , we have a box that was collected in Dec and has still not been delivered. This has lots of items in it ,flat screen tv, computer moniter etc, I posted about this right at the begining of this thread!I mentioned pickled onions! have you read the whole thread?
The outcome of her visit to Peter was that the box is in Manila along with 300 boxes in the container. It cant be realeased as he hasnt got the money to pay the customs! this apparentley is around £3000. What was suggested was that if we could raise the money ie £20 per box we could maybe have the container released! Peter also promised that he would let Lolita have a list of all the people who have boxes in the container, this hasnt happened, the idea was that she could maybe try to arrange something to get the boxes at least out of the customs! We also have a freind who has conections with the customs in the Philippines and would try and look into this.
All the people that know my wife will tell you that all she is interested in is helping people! See the Mahalika filipino club for all the good work they do!
It seems that Peter has told someone from leeds today that has been to retreive their box, that Lolita his his partner! They asked for the money they had paid for the box back! He told them that Lolita had the money!
As you can imagine this is starting to annoy me now, people should really not speak out until they have the full facts, we are in the same boat as the 100's of people without their boxes!
I hope this gets sorted out , but please get the facts right before naming people on a public forum!

well said Andrew im now getting sick of people saying things when they have done nothing to help,im in the philippines next was going to sort the boxes, but im sick of people talking out of place.
It's close on two months since we first heard of Philand Ynterlink ... now, we never seem to be hearing the end of it!

For those whith boxes in the warehouse you may be able to contact LBC and arrange for them to collect them, but you also have to ensure the warehouse is open so it is probably worth a group of you arranging it together. It would mean you have to pay again, but at least you would know your box is safe and on the move

If you can help people, fine, I'm sure they will also appreciate at as well as those of us not involved on here, but you have to remember these people have been charged for something that hasn't happened, worked hard to pay for a lot of stuff in the boxes, and yet get next to zero information from the company management to of course they are going to be extremely peeved. It's exactly the same as being robbed, and I'm sure if it happened to you then you'd be looking for someone to blame when information and facts are in short supply due to the pathetic failure of the management of this company.Originally Posted by tony johnson

the comments he has put aint good im only standing up for other people who im trying to help,but the way i feel now about others comments i give up with it all.next week im off to the philippines for 5 weeks and was going to the customs there and was going topay out of my own pocket to have the boxes released then claim some money back from others when i get home. but maybe i help to much with some of the comments.

I'm interested and willing to give 20 pounds just to get all my boxes, just rang again the cogtong and told me that Philand Ynterlink haven't paid them, my auntie who works as a custom broker could help as well to release the container...I have 8 large boxes, Tele, bed and Treadmill that collected last December 8,2011 and my PY number are not listed on the other post that saying that it will deliver next week..all my boxes should be deliver within metro manila but still don't have a clue where it is now.
Anyone...please let's help each other to get our balikbayan boxes.

hope you could help me find my boxes I'm here in manila at the moment and getting worried now, although I rang the Cogtong if they have container to be released and confirmed they have one that not yet paid by philand ynterlink, but not sure now if my boxes are in that container, Kirby Collected my boxes last December 8, 2011, it makes me more worried when I read post about boxes found in the warehouse as my boxes might still be there but becuase even Andy nisbet don't reply anymore on this thread/forum now I don't have any information now about where my really boxes are?? last week my agent in southport spoke to peter newlove and he said my boxes are already in the philippines but will I believe him??I don't think so.. it's May already and still no sign of delivery even my PY no. that someone posted here that said it will deliver next week are not on the list.

I think BOd's Idea of raising 20 quid to release the contents of 1 container with 300 boxes on it and deliver them to their destinations is a good idea, but unless we know whose boxes are inside or unless Tony is willing to shoulder all of the expenses first, then it might be better to ask to pay the 20 quid later.

@Molten my husband is not asking for credit of what he had done to help Filipino since that I am filipina the wife, I asked him to help my fellow filipino's about there boxes in bradford when were there. Loads of Filipino are saying thank you to him of what he done to them so can you please sort yourself first and look into the mirror to see yourself and ask if they will give you respect as well. I'm sick and tired of putting nonsense words here against my husband. @624 me and my husband are willing to sort the boxes in the Philippines but Molten is the one who is always running down my husband on here. Tony is not asking for credit since that we will shoulder the payment in the custom just to release the container where our boxes are and when we get back here in the Uk we will ask people to help payback the money who have boxes in that container. Hello kabayan let's not attack each other we are here in this forum to give each other support and keep each other informed as to what's happening with our Balikbayan boxes.........we are all depending on each other for any updates anyone can gather.... Everyone should be fair and if you want to show your appreciation to that person who you think has helped you more then be it but be discreet and think of others feeling or how they will understand it.......@ molten show your appreciation to Kirkby full stop but don't have to comment against others as we all know everybody has given time and effort too @ tony i have thanked you and your wife over the phone the very first day that you were in that warehouse.
If this will be the solution that we have to pay just so that we can retrieve our box then count me in.....this is better what is £20 we pay to get our box rather than loosing our box that cost more than £20. @ tony you have my full support and I am wiling to pay extra if needed as long as I'll have my box back.

I sent 2 boxes in 17th Dec 2011, and it was only delivered to my family today 7th May, about 7pm in Manila. The problem is they only delivered one. I sent 2 boxes! The company that delivered my box is called Carjeff. I phoned Andy but he didn't reply. I received the list of py numbers (to be delivered soon) from Andy last week and it only showed 1 box in my py number. I have been asking him since then why there is only 1 box when I sent 2! My guess is that one container has been paid and releasd to Carjeff. The other container is with Cogtong, which is not yet paid, according to Jean.
Andy promised me last week to email the other list. Once I get the list, i will post it here.
Just an update to everyone. I sent 2 boxes last 17th of December. And one has been delivered today by Carjeff. To my utterly dismay, only one box was delivered instead of 2. I have been chasing Andy since last week why there was only 1 box listed on the manifest. He said he "forgot" to email me the other list. (cross my fingers that my other box is indeed in that other list)
My guess is that 2 different companies in the Philippines are in charge of each container. Jean from Cogtong company told my sister today that peter has not paid in full. Hence, only one container has been released and that's with Carjeff. The other container which i believe in with Cogtong, is not yet paid. This is getting crazier by the minute! If i get the other list of py numbers from Andy, i will post it here.
