I'd stick about 20% on the 9 million to take account of all the illegals
Just had weekend in London after no visiting since 1979!
What a place
full of eastern Europeans and Asians who don't speak English well at all
Wont be going back in a rush horrible place now not like how I remember.
Looks like a random capital of Europe, certainly not England![]()
That must've been a terrible experience Les I suppose you were hospitalised with shock for a couple of days. My visits generally involve travelling rail to Paddington, undergound to Fulham Broadway then a short walk to the home of the Pride of London - if you time the journey right you won't see too many of the germs you mention![]()
I lived and worked in central London when 18 and 19 years of age.
I avoid at all costs going anywhere near there now....it justme off too much seeing all the flotsum and jetsum that inhabit the place, and nearly as bad....all the rich Middle-Easterners swanning round like they own the bloody place - which they DO.
So, to all amongst the expanding population, please just STAY there.
Maybe its because I'm a Londoner, that I love London town.
I was born in Greater London. And worked there till I was 20. When I took the mrs around the sights at christmas I clocked the changes you mentioned.
