Maiden name is fine.
The important thing is that you use the SAME name and SPELLING on all documents.
Much better to keep your maiden name during visa application process, as it will be same as on your birth certificate, passport etc.
Changing it will only lead to confusion !
If you're going to change any names do it after you've arrived in the UK.
You are not obliged to change your name just because your marital status has changed.
Thank you so much for your kind reply. I really appreciate it. I was so stressed out because someone told me that I may get rejected because I recently change my status.
You're a blessing.
Hello,
Just one more question. Do you think I need to present my marriage cert upon visa application?
You need to search the visa application requirements on the forum for the correct answer to that one, plus details of all other required documents, or look on the UKBA website, but I'm pretty certain the answer will be YES, because of course you will have to prove that you are the SPOUSE of a British citizen.
