Not only Men are being Scammed but Also us Ladies

I just wanna share this experience to everyone..

I was a member of a dating site and had a few friends in there..one of them named Jennifer Ysabelle Lacochao her forum username was "eper"..last January 2010, i was still working in the Department of Agrarian Reform in Catbalogan City and suddenly he decided to visit me..

According to her, she wanted to unwind before she left to work abroad..and so i told her that she can't stay with me because i was staying a boarding house..and so she said its ok she wil just stay in the hotel...and so she did..she borrowed some clothes from me since she didn't bring enough clothes with her..

my workmates was actually being suspicious of her and advised me not to trust her that much..coz they said, if she is in her right mind, to think that she is about to live for work abroad and she has two kids she is not suppose to be going anywhere without her kids..she is expected to be with them and do the most out of her time to spend w/ them..but then, i didnt take their advice seriously..

Since i was busy with my work there are times that i wasn't able to visit her at the hotel were she was staying..one night she invited one of my room mates to sleep with her..

the next day my room mate told me that she has no longer money and had been skipping meals and the worst part is she has no money to pay for the hotel..and so i visited her..

she asked me then if i have a friends or relatives that can lend her money..coz according to her she has money but its on a time deposit, she would be able to get it by March..so i refer her to my one of my office mates..i don't know but i guess it was an instinct that talked to my officemate before she did and told her not to lend her money..

and so finally, she did talked to my officemate and asked if she can borrow money worth 65,000 and said that its ok even if she give 10% interest anyway it won't be long before she will pay..and said i will be the guarantor..
and as usual my officemate didnt lend her money..

and so i advised her to just go home and borrow money from her relatives coz no one will lend her money were i work coz she is not from the place..

she borrowed me money then for fare and food so i lend her 2K...and you know what?..she told me to borrow money from my officemate..but i told her i dont want to borrow anything..to think that what i gave her was more than enough..

the sad part, was that..the moment i gave her money, she didnt really go home..instead she spent the money on internet caffee..until she has nothing left...

long story short, she stayed in the hotel 1 month and 2 weeks i guess..and her bill reached to 20K plus...she had lots of drama..then left, she talked to the hotel owner and said she will send her payment once she got home..

she sent me a text message the moment she arrived at their place and thanks me for everything..and said that she will return the money she borrowed..

but upto now, she didnt pay anything..and i haven't heard anything from then..

i think i was just really too trusting to people that i didn't notice the sings of her being an scammer..

thats why, we all need to be careful and don't trust that easily to people whom we don't really know...as you could see, if my officemate lend her money i'll be the one who will be paying for that..thanks to God because he give guidance..she may not able to pay what she has too..sooner or later she will in God's grace and she will realize the mistakes that she did..

to all the ladies, lets all be careful from now on, remember not only men are being scammed but also us ladies...

I remember ages ago I had this chatmate who introduced himself as an American guy. His English is quite bad but he told me it is because he wasnt able to go to the university. I believed him because I personally encountered American clients at work who can't write formal letters well.

When this American chatmate requested to speak to me over mic, I noticed a certain accent in his voice that gave away his real identity. I confronted him and told him I am not dumb not to know he is a sham. He finally confessed he is from India. I can't remember anymore his reasons why he pretended to be an American guy. It didn't matter to me at all coz I didn't like him in the first place because of his bad English

Unfortunately, and even to people around me if i even lend any money i make sure that the amount will not be that big for me to accept that it will not get paid back to me
