London's Shard skyscraper nears completion
New footage shows the top of The Shard building as the finishing touches are made to the structure.
At 1,017ft, The Shard, based at London Bridge, will house up to 12,000 workers when the project is completed.
The skyscraper is the tallest building in the European Union.

So now we have the Shard and the Sliver....
Just hope it dont end up like the twin towers.
when we flew into heathrow at night you sort of come down the thames, in the air not the water,,anyway you see all the buildings all lite up the london eye does stand out next time you come to land look out the window, site on the right side and the view is trariffic
