Filipina preferred foreign men over Filipino men???

Based on reading past forums, I have read that several Filipina commenting that they preferred foreigners over Filipino men. One of their reasons is that Filipino men are more of a womanizing type than foreigners. There are several things that can be discussed here, what are the advantages and disadvantages of foreigners over Filipino men and vise versa. Also, the basic traits of each, courtship rituals, etc. Hope that everyone can add something to make this discussion livelier…

what do you think scouser keith. some pinoy guys are equivalent to some english gals ? a marriage made in heaven . sure there are biritsh men just as bad...

i'll never forget the first time i went to palawan to meet my wifes family, her dad and mom were both there, they been living a part for a while, as he ran off with a girl younger than his daughters . and we got in their jeep to go for a ride, he asked his ex wife something, and threw the keys at her, well to say i was , looking back i should have said or done something .. well my mother in law is better off with out him.. , the times i did meet him, he tired to impress me with how macho he was. told me about the guns he got etc... just one bad apple in a barrel ?

Philippines is still a Partriarchal society. If pinays want equality in a relationship, better find it somewhere else than Phils. Becuase if you find one, most likely they're already taken.

    Thumbs up

Honestly, mostly 99% of filipina ( especially on the poverty line ) prefered foreign man bec of much better future ahead of them but there's nothing wrong on it isnt' it? The best part of being married to filipina 99% live happily ever after.... and only 10% didn't have a happy ending the problem sometimes they think that life abroad is like a bed of roses which is not true that every penny earned is thru a hard work As i noticed about filipino man as a husband that "macho effect" as long as they provide income to the family they're good husband that's it and wife should be like a special maid that serve the whole family Me i never and never will regret marrying a filipina whatever the reason is....masarap magmahal ang pinay

We marry for different reasons, love, stability, etc...but I do believe that sometimes we have to try and meet our soul mate halfway, wherever. It wasn't like as if time was running out on me when I met my husband through writing, but I felt he was the right person for me, he just happened to be a foreigner. Any relationship is a risk anyway, I just count my blessings that I am still married and have been for 13 years, (I've been told I am due 'parole' ) and have found myself my bestfriend as well.

Don't forget my friend, to make a marriage work you both have to work hard for it (and how!!!!) and both want to make it work. The barneys my husband and I have had -- never mind I guess you just try to think of the things you will lose if you let things get out of hand, e.g. jewelleries, car, holidays, opppppppps SHALLOW side coming out!! Just kidding of course!!!!
