£ to pesos

Got 78 pesos to the £ in July '10. Thats a very sobering thought:! Mate of mine was getting 90 + just a few years ago, 68 is still low in my book. Hoping for 70+.

I remit was paying 68.30 last week and I have just checked their site and its currently 68.60. I know its not alot more but as the man says every little helps

The PHP seems to live in a world of its own as market movements elsewhere, the GBP, EURO & USD can bounce around a lot while the PHP is static

BUT!! Shocking that we lost 10 pesos to the £ in a year thats the equivalent to losing one day in 7/8 of spending money there huh!

The rate dropped from 42 to 35 in 1992 after the financial fiasco during John Major's watch
Jan 2005 or thereabouts it hit 107 for a short while
I gotta say during the 90s even at a rate of 35 your money went a long way
