Further & Indefinite Leave To Remain

With the latest round of increases in Visa Fees due to be implemented w.ef. April 6, I wonder if there might, be - even the remotest possibility - that the UKBA has cleared up its backlog?

Hopefully that WILL be the case ... and I all *those who've been waiting patiently (*some for months on end!!!) have finally received THEIRS.

    I hope so too Arthur.
Although I did hear on the TV news that UKBA had some staffing problems at the airports that have been predicted to cause some queues and delays at immigration desks.
    Fingers crossed all round eh!

i doubt any backlogs will go because of job cuts at UKBA..

    from http://www.thisissurreytoday.co.uk/U...ail/story.html

So far there have been 180 redundancies at the UK Border Agency (UKBA), in Wellesley Road, which is one of Croydon's biggest employers. A further 291 are expected in October. of job cuts at UKBA

From memory ... I seem to recall there being a few of our members who had been waiting since as far back as last October for ILR.
