Smile Anyone used the Premium service for ILR

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone has used the Premium Service offered by the Immigration service!! Thinking of doing it cos heard the normal process of ILR can take up to 3 months to process, and am due to travel back to phils around 3 months after I apply for ILR so dont want to book flights and not have passport etc back in time......
Need to know if the premium service is as good as its made out to be, (still a rip off having to pay anything) but hands are tied..

    thanks

no real point of doing the premium and why you booking flights your expecting to stay if they tell you to go home then book the flights otherwise your wasting money on tickets that you wont need

    just my opinion
A place for everything, everything in its place.

    1. Yes ... 2. yes ... 3. yes. I would certainly recommend it; it's well worth the additional cost for the sake of avoiding stress, IMO!

These days it's a premium price too, but if you have the budget and good reasons then it's very well worth worth it to get the decision and visa same day.

Just one word of caution, please do be sure that your application is straightforward and that you have ALL the required documentary evidence without questions or doubts plus some additional back up.
If there is anything that needs additional checking by back-office caseworkers then you will not get your visa that day. Your application will go into the 'normal' queue.

In short, it's a great service if you are fully compliant. Many others do it with success.

Okay we didnt plan on havng anything checked before the appointment with immigration, the Form looks straightforward enough, and we dont have anything untoward going on, cant see an issue.. (plus our baby is born here so is english) just wondered if the premium was worth it... seems to be a positive from you. thanks....

    All sounds OK then
BTW I wasn't suggesting you have anything checked prior to the appointment, what I was saying is to be sure ALL your supporting documents are FULLY compliant so that the UKBA do not need their caseworkers to verify any information that you supply.
Anyway sounds like your application is very straight forward and fully compliant so no worries.

It's always a personal choice but IMO money well spent to avoid all that stress and waiting.
